IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN REGARD TO COVID-19

PETCHESTER IS STILL OPEN!! Emergency veterinary and animal health services are considered to be essential businesses/entities according to Executive Order 202.6 during this pandemic crisis. In light of this, we are still seeing emergency animal patients but not human clients to protect the health of all people involved. As is being done in most business situations, to limit human-human exposure, we are asking all clients to call the hospital upon their arrival and remain in their cars in the parking lot. An animal health attendant will pick up your pet for the veterinarian to examine and perform any necessary diagnostics and procedures. All communications with the veterinarian and the animal hospital will be via telephone. We are trying to accommodate all of our pet patients' urgent needs in this turbulent time, and we thank you for your utmost consideration and understanding. We wish our entire pet and people community continued good health. Let us all plan for and look forward to a bright and promising future.

Our clients may still be receiving reminders for their pet care and vaccines during this COVID-19 pandemic. Since it is too arduous a task to siphon through every reminder, we ask that if you receive a reminder, to please call the receptionist to confirm if your visit is essential.

Frontline veterinary practitioners and staff are among the healthcare professionals who provide surveillance for diseases deemed reportable by state and federal governments, including zoonotic diseases, such as rabies, influenza, and Lyme Disease. Currently, essential veterinary care includes spay/neuter, treatment for infectious diseases, as well as sick or injured animals and emergencies. Animals that are sick or injured should receive veterinary attention. However, you might consider rescheduling or limiting services such as wellness exams, prophylactic dental services, and other elective procedures.

Why?

To see how we built an animal hospital from an Italian eatery

We are a new, modern, 4500 sq. ft. animal hospital that was built from the "paw print" of a local, Eastchester Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, there is no more pasta made here, but you can find other delicacies for the animal kind. We stock medical and maintenance pet diets for your convenience, as well as other pet supplies.

Our good-humored and humble veterinary and support staff will make you and your

What?

To receive state-of-the-art,

professional, medical care

Along with the nostalgic photos of animals on our walls, we realize that medicine is also an art and requires experienced professionals who have strong clinical know-how and can use their experience to make fast life-and- death decisions while utilizing all of our state-of-the-art medical equipment.
